The XIII International Conference "Algebra, Number Theory and Discrete Geometry: Contemporary Issues and Applications" devoted to the 85th birthday anniversary of a great mathematician, leading specialist in the field of geometry of numbers, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and leading researcher of the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences – Sergey Sergeyevich Ryshkov (01.08.1930–06.04.2006) will be held at the premises of Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University, Tula, May 25-30, 2015.
In cooperation with Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS, Moscow City Teacher Training University, and Tula State University take part in the conference organization.
The aim of the XIII International Conference "Algebra, Number Theory and Discrete Geometry: Contemporary Issues and Applications" devoted to 85th birthday anniversary of Professor S.S. Ryshkov is the coordination of current research in algebra, number theory and discrete geometry.
Objectives of the conference:
- discussion of the latest achievements in algebra, number theory and discrete geometry lately;
- discussion of current research directions in algebra, number theory and discrete geometry;
- discussion of current fundamental problems in algebra, number theory and discrete geometry, and ways to solve them.
The following sections are expected to work at the conference:
- Algebra;
- Theory of numbers;
- Discrete geometry;
- Algebraic geometry, discrete mathematics and cryptography.
It is possible to include other sections into the conference program.
To compile an application for a grant, it is necessary to create a list of participants. If you are planning to attend the conference, we offer you to register on the conference website up to January 15, 2015.
Conference proceedings will be published before the conference. Abstracts of the participants should be sent in the form of LaTeX and PDF files up to April 15, 2015 by e-mail: xiiiconf-tula2015@yandex.ru. Your abstract should not exceed three printed pages.
As an outcome of the conference, it is expected to publish of conference proceedings in one or more editions of the “Chebyshevskiy Sbornik” (ISSN 2226-8383).
Articles should be sent by the email (dobrovol@tspu.tula.ru) in the form of LaTeX and PDF files. We recommend using LaTex standard styles and instructions. Please, visit the “Chebyshevskiy Sbornik” website to get further information on materials requirements.
